Re: Ashlee's Scan Report - Not good

So sorry to hear your news Ashlee. I am at a loss for words. I know that I dont want to say anything to offend you bc I know this is something only you can face. All I can say is that no one knows how long they have. I know my dad surpassed everything I thought would happen and everything his doctor...

Re: For those following Steve's story

I am so sorry Bev. I don't even know what to say. These are such awful situations and we often feel helpless in them. Please know I am thinking of you and keeping you all in my heart. I pray that somehow, something will change enough for Steve to be able to receive that transplant. All we have is ho...

Re: My dad is now my beautiful angel

Thank you all! So Scared, it's ok. It's hard to know what to say especially when you've followed along so closely and have really become friends with someone. Really no words are needed. It's a lot for everyone to think about, especially here bc you can always put yourself there. Life is different n...

Re: My dad is now my beautiful angel

He did not design his own marker but, we will have something he drew engraved onto one for him. He did basically write his own obituary though. He also left letters for my mom, my son and I. Something I will cherish forever!

Re: My dad is now my beautiful angel

Thank you all so much for the kind words, condolences and prayers. This experience has been pretty much the hardest thing I've gone through in my whole life. It's going to be rough for a long time. My dad was a huge part of my life and my children's lives. I feel lost right now. The past three month...

Re: My mom is in heaven now.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray that peace, love and light surround you and your family in the rough days ahead. I just recently lost my dad, last Monday. He is my best friend and he actually lived with me so I know what you are feeling and what you are going through. If you need to talk, p...

My dad is now my beautiful angel

On Monday September 16th my dad passed away peacefully at home surrounded by me, my mom, my twin sister, my brother, his wife and his little dog, Nellie. I can only describe his passing as beautiful and amazing. My mom was at work. My brother had just left the house to go to work. My twin and I were...

Yet, he continues to cough until he gags and vomits up phlem. He says he feels like it's a tickle in his throat. I have no idea. The nurse als...

Re: ZALTRAP CLUB?

Good for you Ashlee! Glad this seems to be nocking some of this away for you. I'm so sorry I didn't respond to your earlier post. I just saw it now. My dad decided about two weeks ago that he was opting out of chemo. He had already been feeling so horrible that he wasn't sure he could go back to it....

Truly beautiful! I love the inscription. It brought a tear to my eye. I also love that you are riding around in Lauren's car. I hope it makes you feel closer to her. Glad she's leaving you such amazing signs too. It's heartwarming. Sending you tons of light and love.

Re: This Bugs Me to No End

Wow! That's miserable. To think he has been doing this behind your back while you are trying so hard not to have to do this. I hope you can find some resolve in the situation bc really, it's not fair of this person to use you as his excuse for not accomplishing what he should be. I would be very ups...
