By me if the night before changing the wafer I had a veggi free dinner I have no problem doing it in the shower the next morning

But if I had specific veggies the night before then in middle of changing suddenly a carrot will jump out and mushrooms and celery and trust me its no fun

Hi I had my first round of oxipalatin levrocovin and 5-fu this Tuesday While pre surgery chemo which was just 5-fu had hardly any side affects this one isn't easy at all I can manage with the cold sensitivity eating and drinking only room tempature plus the pain wasn't so severe But the nausea dizzi...

Of course your bowl function will never be the same as it was till now but that doesn't say that you can never eat all the kinds of food

I didn't have any side affects when I had 5 weeks of 5fu before surgery I wonder how much harder this oxaliplaitn will be

The doctor told me this side affects are very common like everyone has them

I am already 5 weeks after surgery and pain in the rectum isn't stopping Body gets used to pain killers and its not helping to much My doctor doesn't think oxycontin is a good idea since its addictive Sitzbath relieves some times a bit but I am concerned people in online blogs write they suffer from...

thanks for the reply i will call my doctors office about this

also does regular Motrin or Advil have a chance of minimizing this pain? is it ok to take those at all after an APR and having an illiostomy?

cancer isnt causing the pain
dont forget he had surgary and yes it hurts

i am also now dealing with pain after surgary and pain killers its not easy but no need for the stress of worrying that the pain comes from the cancer its just to fast
