I received the shot after pump removal for every treatment. The first 2 shots caused my white count to go very high so obviously I did not need it but that is how they do it at my onc. The remainder of treatments, the white count was lower but always normal. Through all 12 cycles i never got a cold,...

You are not alone with the diffucult stage 2 decision. Many of us went through the same thought process. Hi Marke, Exercise is an excellent way to get through Folfox. On the first 4 days of the cycle minimal light exercise if possible will reduce side effects. On days 5-14 you can pick up the pace a little but do not overdo it. I kept dumbells all over the house and tried to lift a little as frequently...

Ativan was the med that helped me get through chemo! I would take 1-2 mg 30 min before bedtime and slept like a teenager! I would feel well rested in the AM. During the day i would take 0.5 mg once or twice as needed. When done with chemo i realized i could not sleep without it so when I had a week ...
