Re: For Stage III's: NED for how long now?

I am so happy and feel incredibly blessed to report I am cancer free. We celebrated my 5 year anniversary on June 15th, 2011. And we celebrated again when it was confirmed that it was not genetic...that I do not have Lynch Syndrome. It hasn't always been easy, but I thank God for my health and for m...

Re: Is it normal to have a Pet scan after a CT scan

I am sorry that you are having to go through the wait of a PET scan and I am sorry that your oncologist didn't have the magic words to give you some peace of mind, but I wanted to re-confirm what others have said and that it is very normal. I finished chemo in Jan. 07 and have a similiar story to yo...

Re: Something else to add to the list

Ugh! I am sorry...but this is just a bump in the road. You will be back feeling better in no time. I will never forget the first time I remember having pneumonia. I had just finished with chemo and I was getting the results of my CT scan to determine if I could remove my port and the doctor said...w...

Only you really know what your body needs to recover from the poison in your body. And it will most likely be different every treatment. Most importantly do N...

I am a lurker on this site almost daily. The stories...the comments of everyone on this site always inspire me. I find myself laughing, crying and understanding completely what people are going through. Anyway, when I first was diganosed I was overwhelmed with all of the statistics and scary stories...
