congrats and good news. my lap lar took approx 7 hours also. much harder on the wives. we were asleep the whole tim and our loved ones had to endure the long 7 hours. pete will be up and at em before you know. good news all around...jim

i got the report of initial ct scan after early diagnosis. i had not seen my onc yet. i had a lung granuloma and a liver cyst. i did not read granuloma or cyst but stg 4 rectal cancer. these ended up being nothing. i am with eric. never got my reports early again..jim 3.5 yrs since diagnosis of stg ...

freddie solomon a great wide receiver from 49'er glory days just passed away from colon cancer after a 9 month battle. media is saying colon cancer not just cancer. he was a great player and a great man after football. we wish his family well...jim

I FOUND THIS SITE AT THE END OF MY JOURNEY. I HAD ALREADY HAD RAD/CHEMO AND RESECTION BEFORE FINDING THIS SITE. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO HAVE MY ILEO REVERSAL BEFORE FINDING THIS SITE. i went snorkeling and swimming in hawaii with my ileostomy.i used a wrap from ostomysecrets.com . i never had a problem with swimming. i think you should have no problem. one of the pleasures in life is the water in the summer. check out the wraps. i used them for my century bike rides and swimming....

my wife's godmother had stg 3 rc in 1975. she is now 82 yrs old. it has not been easy but we think she has enjoyed her life. permanent colostomy and self cathing. lots of radiation and chemo back then. jim

AARON RODGERS IS FROM MY HOMETOWN..HE WENT TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL AND JC BEFORE THE BIG TIME. THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE AT THE STADIUM THEN LIVE IN OUR TOWN. WE ARE BIG NINER FANS UP HERE BUT NOW SUPPORT THE PACKERS. GOOD FOR THE PACKERS AND GOOD FOR RODGERS. JIM
