Re: What test to take before seeing gastroenterologist?

What province are you in, if you are in Ontario you should be able to get in to get a colonoscopy fairly quickly. Did you mention to your primary you want a colonoscopy? I don't think you have to get one through a G.I. doc. appt. first.

Re: CRC Spreading to skin/arm ... ever hear of it?

Interesting you'd post this....last night I was on Medscape because I wanted to see concernedrelatives article he was talking about regarding the RAS mutations and EGFR. Re: Please help - unique situation

Just to let you know I did folfiri with Avastin, had minimal side effects, mostly diarrhea that was controlled with lomotil pills. My hair thinned some, I was the only one who noticed. Infusion day was the worst day I would have, and that came with some nausea, not throwing up, it was mostly a "...

Re: My latest scan... not good...

Uggh, sorry about the scan. What did the Dr.'s from the trial you are participating in have to say about this? The new trial sounds interesting, what's involved in that .... how often would you need shots etc., I'm sure you'll find out the details as you leave no stone unturned. (My sister sent me a...

Re: regorafenib (stivarga) work for anyone?

Concerned relative ..... go to the ACS website, it lists dexamethasone as one of the drugs that can interact with regorafinib ..... you may want to check it out, seems to imply it can make the regorafinib less effective.
