Covid 19 vaccine

I was very surprised the first doses of the new vaccine in Houston were sent to MD Anderson. This was not because the staff was afraid of the patients, but to safeguard the patients from the staff.I think it was a well educated move!

I lost 4 pounds this month and am retired. Perhaps it's the heat and going back to work stress. Also some of the effects of chemo can cause a loss of taste .

You get used to it after a while now you know what it is. It's the cold air that bothered me a lot .

I always took a mug of coffee with me to infusions. It took a year after chemo before I could tolerate milk. It gave me incontinence.

I count from my last treatment, the 12th round after surgery and port removed . 7 yrs and counting.

I didn't experience too many side effects. I did lose 30 pounds do to lack of taste recognition. I asked about the beer and was surprised with the response. "Why not you're on chemo it wont hurt a thing and might make you more comfortable "

Have you done a PET scan to make sure your mets are actually cancer ? It could be COPD and your barking up the wrong tree.

I live in south Texas, and 80 degrees is quite tolerable, at 72 degrees after Folfox, I put on a long sleeved garment !
