what about tiredness - I am still so tired 4 weeks after my last treatment. Pain in my stomach is pretty bad too. Just wonder will I ever feel normal again, this sucks !

I gave mine (Xeloda and Compazine) to my chemo infusion center. They give them to patients who don't have insurance coverage, which I was pretty happy to hear. These drugs are very expensive, so it's an issue for some people. I'm not sure how (or if) they verify that they haven't been tampered with...

you are right .. I need to get some second opinions here .. just something isnt sitting well in my stomach with this .. maybe just wanting to hear better but its worth at least hearing it from someone else too.

HIPEC seems like the best route for peritoneal mets


I have mentioned this three times to my onc. now and last time she said that the treatment would be too harsh for me. Just so confused if this could work for me or not

I have had both and would certainly say get that picc line out and go for a port. love the convience of the port - my picc line was only in for 3 weeks and boy oh boy it hurt

She feels like stopping is giving up. She doesn't know what to do. Does anyone else have expereince with taking a break, for how long, did the cancer spread? If she is so bad with the chemo and the doctor advices a "chemo break" then she is NOT giving up. I had a break last year and ended...

thanks for all the posts re this. Its something I have not just asked myself recently but on and off since being diagnosed, and was just curious about others and if they smoked or not. I agree I think the environment we live in plays a large part too .. although like everyone on here have questioned...
