Re: Browsers (Firefox, Opera & IE 8.0) Won't Access Colon Cl

Well, CR, you won't believe it, but I've just been able to log in utilizing my "Opera" browser by simply enabling Opera "Turbo" (whatever that is?)! Just enabling that, and I'm in. I have no idea what I've done, but I'm grateful to have at least one other browser able to access m...

Re: Browsers (Firefox, Opera & IE 8.0) Won't Access Colon Cl

Thanx again for trying to help, CRguy...I'm running the latest version of Firefox and Opera, but not IE, running stand-alone IE 8.0 which is the highest stand-alone version compatible with WIN XP Pro SP3 on my puter, and as stated previously, AOL 8.0 Plus is running IE 7.0, (lol), but I'm able to ac...

Re: Browsers (Firefox, Opera & IE 8.0) Won't Access Colon Cl

Well, I deliberately didn't check that box, but that didn't work, O Stoma... :( Also, wouldn't that NOT apply, when I log off of this site using AOL? Wouldn't logging off terminate the automatic log-in, so that I'd be able to log in using another browser? When I use Firefox and try and log on, I som...

Re: Browsers (Firefox, Opera & IE 8.0) Won't Access Colon Cl

Yes, O Stoma Mia, it most certainly does make sense, and I have been checking that box when logging into Colon Club via my AOL's IE 7.0 browser. I will keep it unchecked and see if that makes any difference. Thank you sooo very much for thinking of this, as I never would have! Hope it works...such a...

Re: Browsers (Firefox, Opera & IE 8.0) Won't Access Colon Cl

Thanx CR guy - and - I'd have a Mac too, but am too beholden to MS, and when I checked into it, none of my programs would work with a Mac, so I had to settle. Sure wish I'd started with Mac, instead of MS! C'est la vie... CR, my AOL program is the only way I'm now ABLE to access this site, and it's ...

Browsers (Firefox, Opera & IE 8.0) Won't Access Colon Club!

I'm having an awful time getting my various browsers to access The Colon Club's Forum. In Firefox, whenever I type in the proper URL, I get: "Unable to connect: Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at coloncancersupport.colonclub.com. The site could be temporarily unavailable or t...

Re: Pain After Polypectomy & Scissors Biopsy of 5mm Colon Po

Unfortunately Norton Power Eraser must be used with Norton on one's computer, but all my browsers are working, i.e., when I type in other URL's they load just fine. Only The Colon Club's URL won't load on any of them except my AOL program! Crazy, huh?! :x Anyway, anyone aware of the pain factor afte...

Re: Pain After Polypectomy & Scissors Biopsy of 5mm Colon Po

Yes, I know...that is the URL I've been typing into each browser and it won't work! Never had this occur before...I'm totally mystified! All I get are error messages and redirects to Yahoo pages that list many other colon club links that are not this Colon Club! Also, I'm using the latest vers...

Pain After Polypectomy & Scissors Biopsy of 5mm Colon Polyp

I had my 3 year colonoscopy today and during it, my gastro doc biopsied and removed a 5 mm polyp. I'm in a good deal of pain tonight at the site, and am wondering if anyone else has experienced pain after polypectomy? Also, I find I'm unable to copy and paste this URL or even the main page URL into ...

Re: What if surgeon is not board certified? 24 hours left.

Hi all, I can't find any "New Post" button, so I can post a new topic here??? Also, I find that this board's URL only works within my AOL program. When I try and type the URL of this board into Firefox, Opera or stand-alone IE, I'm receiving error messages that the page doesn't exist! Can ...

Re: Anastomotic Leak After Right Hemi-Colectomy?

Well, jcoberly, I had my post-op colonoscopy last week, and aside from my Diverticulosis, (two holes, one large in the Sigmoid Colon and the other smaller one in the Descending, pictured in the "full-color" photos they gave me afterwards), I got the "all clear", i.e., no bleeding...
