Re: NEW THREAD FOR LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND ONGOING

I haven't been back here in a very long time. I still think about the colon club often and how I would have never survived the journey with my husbands cancer if it wasn't for this board. My husband died Sept 10, 2012 and its been one hell of a ride emotionally. I am still not over it and never will...

Water and the PH balance and alkaline water

Do any of you know or would recommend a good water purification/filter system ? It doesn't necessarily have to be for the whole house, but suggestions on that are welcomed too. I remember researching and I thought I read it was better for your body to be more alkaline ....is that water better or no?...

Re: MY MAN MIKE <3

I am sorry Kathy....I hope your holding up the best you can. My DH has been gone almost a year and this road is the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life. You think it would get easier as time passes, and some days are easier than others, but the grief slaps you in the face when you least...

Re: News about Anji (Larry's wife)

Oh wow, I was just thinking about her the other day. I do not come on here as regularly as I used to, but I do check in from time to time, I just don't post much. I was thinking about all the ladies that traveled this journey with our husbands and she was one of the first that I started following. S...

Re: My Dear Husband is Cancer Free and with God

Niki,
you know how sorry I am for you and I think about you several times a day, wondering how your doing, how your holding up.

You and your family are amazing, what a gift God gave you for that time. I hope Matt and Kevin will meet in heaven.

Re: 18 years old with metastatic colorectal cancer

Your story touched me on so many levels. Your amazing like the others have said. My heart goes out to you and your doing it up right. In fact, I think you probably have accomplished more in your life so far than many of us ever will because of your attitude.

Re: Wives of husbands with Stage IV Colon Freaking Cancer

Tdimomd, I understand how you feel, I am still kinda the same way. I feel closer to my MIL than I ever have because she understands the grief. I couldn't leave my home except to work and back for months. I didn't want to leave my home, it was more comforting to just sit in my home with silence. I so...
