I used Accutane for the first time in 2004. I was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in 2009. Accutane is very powerful!

Using a baby toothbrush will help prevent recession of the gums. I was brushing too hard and had gum recession. I then had to have a tissue graft using tissue from the roof of my mouth. I use a baby toothbrush now at least once for my 3 brushings daily.

You should try Prune Juice. It really works for me. I take 4oz-6oz per night and I usually go to the bathroom several times that same night. However, the next morning, I wake up refreshed without that pressure. Hope you try it and works for you.

I also experienced Hives, swelling, & welts which come and go. I went to the ER one Sunday morn and was given Prednisone. It took a week before they got better but they still come and go. I believe it has something to do with the chemo and allergic reaction to a food or possibly an insect bite. ...

Push the liquids. It really helps. Drink tea, water, coffee, juice, lemonade, etc. Drink often. Push the liquids.
