Re: Pills vs. Pump

My dad, at 87 yrs. old, did very well on Xeloda pills (and radiation treatments). After his morning pills and radiation treatment, we went golfing every day. I'm glad that he didn't have a pump as it kept his activities normal. A great success w/treatment and he is still golfing at 94 yrs. old. I ho...

Re: Anybody with any good news ??

This year, we basically play 4 days a week and 18 holes each day. Been playing until recent bad weather. Suppos...

Re: Preparing mom for colon

My dad had this procedure done last year at age 88 (due to bleeding issues). He was (is) very active and in good physical condition when he had his colonoscopy. It was not too easy getting all that prep liquid down !!! I remember that he was going to the bathroom all night long . I suggest getting a...

Re: For my dearest friend, Terry

Jaynee: I am sorry for your sadness. I didn't even know Terry, but, I often thought that I would like to be her neighbor and that she would make a great friend. She wrote with such compassion for people and always seemed to encourage others. She also had such FAITH and this helped me so much - I alw...

Re: Looking for a good sunscreen to use

Thank you for your good information. After hours and hours of research, I finally ordered Blue Lizard Sunscreeen Sensitive-has Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide (same ingredients as the Blue Lizard 'Baby" sunscreen). There are just so many 'bad' sunscreen. I am just finding that out. It is such a...

Looking for a good sunscreen to use

Would appreciate some 'help' on this topic. I've been researching, trying to find a chemical-free sunscreen that won't leave a white tint to the skin when applied. I was not too happy when I bought a fairly expensive chemical-free tube, applied it, and then had ghostly-looking-skin. (white-wouldn't ...
