Update on Jeremiah Moore

Hi guys! I have not posted here in a very very long time. I read up as much as I can and keep each and every one of you in my thoughts and prayers. My focus has gotten so deep. Everything from superficial things to deep inner soul searching has gone through the minds of myself and my family. Over th...

Re: How Much Do Doctors Leave Out?

My rule of thumb is you always ask questions to the doctor and then ask for explanation of the answers. If you feel you are not getting straight answers or explanation that help you undertand, you need to find another doctor. Pretty simple in my opinion. This isn't something to mess around with, sug...

Re: new PET/CT

I really like you Brad. Since I started posting on this board, you have always caught my attention. The way you carry yourself, make statements, your personality (at least what I can see through text), the information you give and attention to detail, and your overall good nature. I pray for you alo...

Re: Gas issues

Funny thing is, I actually have less. My wife loves that, but I always feel pent up, backedup, etc. I wish I could pass it like I used to....now, I have so much constipation and lack of gas. I hate it!

Pain

Cancer tumors don't typically cause sharp pains. (Don't start sending me hate messages hehehe, I know that it is possible depending on size and placement, etc...) I have a situation that is similar to yours and the pain could be irritable bowel, chrones, ulcers, etc. The best thing is to definitely ...

Scare

This scares me so much. I pray pray pray that everything will be ok. I'm just so mad at this disease and I want to run around screaming at everyone and everything until someone finds a cure. As mentioned too many time before, I am stage 4 colon cancer, had mets to liver, took care of most everything...

Small

My small spot on my lung did nothing for more than a year. I now have 4 lungs spots, lymph node involvement in chest, by liver, and peritoneal, more liver spots and a very very ugly situation......and we have been monitoring this very closely for almost 2 years.

Yes

My oncologist confirmed that you can have pain from tumor growth or shrink. I was having pain with liver mets and told my doctor and he said "that is probably a sign they are growing"

=)

Proactiv. The acne medicine product.

Works wonders. look it up on the web. I used it alot with the rash and it helps some with the pain (just soothing and not any form of pain killer), keep the area very clean, and moisturizes. In my case, I had no scars left over once the rash was gone.

You are welcome on the info. Anything I can do to help.

Yeah, sorry for the few posts. I have been busy with so many other sites and programs, etc. that I don't have much time to post here. This site does not evolve/grow much but I still like it and try to post when I can.

Drugs that help!

Just a very quick note on a couple of drugs that have been helping me. Inderal/Propanol (generic) = Helped lower blood pressure, helped cut down on migraines, and have recently upped dosage to help with anxiety and stress. No side effects for me from this drug. Gebapentin = Helps a ton by specifical...

Update

Update: Surgery is ruled out. Cyber knife is ruled out. The lymph nodes is confirmed and very difficult to get to, not to mention that oncologist, and multiple surgeons are stating that lymph node recurrence almost always involves multiple nodes. They found a spot in my lungs now as well. At this po...

Works

Zofran is one of the msot expensive but it worked pretty well for me. Just a tip though, and this may or may not happen to all people. Zofran acts like a sponge, when it hits your stomach it foofs like a sponge and absorbs stuff( non technical hehe). But, this actually made me throw up the first tim...
