I was CT scanned before surgery. The report mentioned enlarged lymph nodes around the tumor. I didn’t have chemo or radiation before surgery. Post-op pathology report said all 16 lymph nodes were negative. However my tumor grew through the colon wall, made a large deposit into my peritoneal wall and...

I was considering HIPEC (Dr. Sugarbaker in Washington Cancer center- Washington DC). He was an older gentleman. I don’t know if he is still practicing. Are you in the US? I had one large peritoneal met and a met to omentum. I had surgery (not HIPEC) and 6 month chemo in 2009.

I feel like I can give up meat anytime but alcohol is a different story... I love to have a drink (beer mostly) Friday night.
