Re: Experiences with Lomotil?

I've been using lomotil when needed for the past year and it has helped me tremendously. I have a temporary ileostomy (having it reversed the 27th of may) and from 3 am to about 12 pm I wake up about every 30 minutes having to clean it out so I usually take a lomotil and I can go from about 3 am to ...

Re: Chemo fatigue?

I am also stage 3 and had the same problem of being stuck in bed and feeling terrible after chemo and I also had the emend. The chemo was wrecking my body so much I had to have shots to raise my white blood cells which were not fun. We kept lowering my doses of oxy and eventually just had to stop it...

Re: Signet Ring Questions

Mine was also signet cell and all the doctor really told me about it was that it is a more aggressive form but like I said my doctor didn't really tell me much more. After treatment I have to see the oncologist every 3 months for 2 years then after 2 years I will follow up every 6 months.

I did have heart problems from my chemo and I am not even on oxi so who knows what it could be. I even was sent to the ER once because I kept having abnormal EKGs. It could be for me that I took this one pain med that has now been recalled due to heart problems...at this point who knows.

Re: I still dont know...

I am so glad your doctor is taking you seriously. It took me 3 ER visits and a doctor trying to send me home on the last one and me insisting I was not making up the pain to find out what was wrong with me. Colon cancer at a young age is rare but at 19 I found out thats what I had. So hopefully it i...

Re: Newbie

I was taken off because it was just wrecking my body. I couldn't get out of bed and even when we lowered the dose as low as it could go I was still having all the horrible side effects and even had to miss chemo a few times. If I would've been able to function normally (like getting out of bed) he w...
