My blood draw is sent out. Would I call onc and ask what lab is used. I am not even sure if it is sent to same lab.as my.ins changed.

little history first. I was dx with stage 3b colon/rectal cancer in 2007 1 out of nine lymph nides infected. 5fu during radiation, after resection surgery more chemo. Jan of 2011 Cea 4.0 after that next CEAs 5.3,5.5,4.9, last one done on 5/14/12 5.6. A little freaked out. Do not see onc till next mo...

I am 4 yrs out of chemo radiation surgery. I had a complete hysterectomy during my surgery as the can was close and surgeon felt it was best I am 35 now. Over a yr ago I started with on and off swelling of labia. I saw my ob he prescribed a cream and also said it could be from surgery and lymph node...

I did not know anything about the CA 19-9 test? When i was dx my CEA was 4.5. It has mostly stayed in the 4's a few times dropped into the 3's. that is what has me worried the most, it is higher now than when I was dx.

Question about CEA

I have stage 3b colon/rectal cancer 1 lymph node involvement, 5fu, radiation, colon resection, and more chemo. That was 3 years ago.
