Re: Surgeon has me feeling horrible

I'm in the USA, hopefully our Canadian members will chime in soon.

What type of doctor found your tumor? GI, surgeon, etc. Can that person recommend a cancer hospital. Do you have a primary Dr. Can that person recommend a place.

There is a saying around here, Surgeons should not offer chemo advice and Onc should not offer surgic...

Re: Hi - looking for advice re possible bowel cancer

Hi, I'm still really struggling with the shortness of breath - to the point at times I feel like I'm going to pass out with not being able to get a breath. I've borrowed an inhaler from my dad which helps. I'm not sure if this is linked to my bowel issues or to my chronic hives. I feel like my stom...

Re: New cancer diagnosis. Ugh!!

Hik What questions should I be asking?? Thanks for your help. Ask this surgeon how many of these surgeries s/he does on a yearly bases. Yes board certified colon rectal surgeon is the based. Since it does not sound like rectal (vs colon), sometimes a general surgeon can do the job especially if the...

Re: How can I help my family watch me die?

. . . . Oh how I wish I could just pass away peacefully tonight in my sleep!!! Why can't euthanasia be a legal option? I'd so much rather take it than allow my loved ones to suffer needlessly, with no hope. I If you are in the USA, I believe there are 3 states that support "assistant death&quo...
