Re: Dick's Celebration of Life

Thank you for sharing Kathleen It's my first visit to this site for some while so it is only now that I am saddened by the news of Dicks passing, my condolences. I didn't know Dick, but recall a little of him through some of your posts when I first came to this club - a guy who loved life and the Su...

Re: Calling time on your reversal

You are still in the early stages - don't give up yet It took me 12 - 18 months before things settled down (and my chemo-rad was pre-op) During the first 18 months I was a regular metamucil user and on high fibre diet - only wholegrain bread - this kept me regular and was generally good for the guts...

Re: JulieG .... another beautiful person gone too soon.

Prompted to Log on today for the first time in ages (following a PM message) and spotted this sad news.

I remember Julie for her vibrant positive and interesting posts and could not anticipate how close she was to this.

Deeply saddened

Best wishes to her family

We are all different

For me 2 x weeks (but I work mainly from home anyway) - I think it is better if you can take a month off.

Re: Reversal worries

Mike I just replied to your PM and answered the points you raised regarding experience as best I can. It prompted me to log-on here for the first time in several months and I read this post - In doing so I realised that I misunderstood your question regarding operation experience and answered in rel...

Re: Back Pain

FWIW I have suffered chronic back pain (mainly thoracic) more or less since diagnosis almost three years ago. The pain can develop by sitting at a computer station, driving, standing long periods or doing heavy lifting. I have had during this time: 2 x spinal MRI's; 2 x Bone scans, 3 x CT scans and ...
