Skypup,
I called my family/people. It seems that some care ad others say oh your going to be fine.
You never know what they will say or how they will react.

Re: STIVARGA (Regorafenib) - ONGOING PATIENT EXPERIENCES

I was on Stivarga and it didn't work for me but it does work for others. I got all kinds of side affects, hand and foot syndrome (worse than Neuropathy) and my cancer grew. It is a chemo but some don't call it that because it is more of a life extender. It was first approved by the FDA in September 2...

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Anne, You can search topics at the top of the colon club posts. Search Oxaliplatin and you may find suggestions that will work for you. I had it before. Try lotions. I like utterly smooth. But I have used coconut oil also. Soak feet.Where socks. It can get bad but it could also get worse.Hand and fo...

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Pollo, Dong the Happy Dance for you! Jane, Sorry, I have a bit of chemo brain and it throws me off sometimes. If you have just started on your first or second chemo it takes about 3 weeks for the chemo to get out of your system. When I get Erbitux and Irinotecan it takes 3 months or more to get out ...

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

I haven't been on Zaltrap but my oncologist said it's he same as Erbitux and irinotecan. What I heard about it from Kathryn I really don't need to go there. Gwen, I get colds or get sick a lot from my grand daughter. Unfortunately even with the killing chemo, vitamins, smoothies, etc... I still get ...

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Jane Have you tried Stivarga? It works for some people just not me. I didn't mean to imply that you have or are giving up I am just sharing some possibilities to explore. When I heard the words nothing else for me it was devastating and depressing. My relationship with my oncologist changed but that...

Re: mCRC STAGE IV OR RECURRENT PATIENTS thread - ONGOING

Jane, I have been with my oncologist since the beginning. He told me in September that there was nothing else for me yet its been 6 more months. I researched everything-clinical trials, surgery, radiation, etc... Then I got a second opinion. He put me back on Erbitux and irinotecan because it works....
