Re: Adjuvant Chemo Delayed

Thank you so much for your replies! Open heart surgery is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday of next week, but we are meeting with the surgeon on Monday to see if there’s any reason he’s not a candidate/any downfalls for endovascular surgery to remove the aneurysm since the healing time is reduced,...

Adjuvant Chemo Delayed

Re: Update - Stage 3b, nearly done with adjuvant chemo

Thank you for sharing! I very much appreciate your outlook on your situation. My husband is also 38 and recently diagnosed. He has his left hemicolectomy tomorrow and I have been in the same boat as you trying to find any stories that match ours and this update is so nice to read. :D

CT scans showed no spread to other organs, so next step is surgery and we’ll see where we are from there!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and reassurance.

Re: Husband’s New Diagnosis

Thank you! I guess I meant that I’m worried the weight loss automatically means a poorer prognosis, but trying not to get ahead of myself

Husband’s New Diagnosis

Hi All, Thank you so much for this wonderful resource of information and individual stories - it is a light in the darkness during these times! My husband, 38, had a colonoscopy last week where they found a mass they could not get the scope past in his descending colon near his splenic flexure. It w...
