Re: Maintenance Chemo Questions

1)Order a PET scan to see where you at right now
2)Ask your oncologist about braftovi+mektovi targeted therapy, i believe its a lot easier to manage than chemo

Re: Treatment For Multiple Lung Nodules In Europe?

Well done , it’s a window of opportunity and I am praying it goes well for you ! Stu Stu. My report indicated that several of the nodules are showing new cavitation. Does that mean they are dying/collapsing? Perhaps my alternative treatments are working? No, its obviously not working. Your nodules ...

Re: Finally Found Out Staging: T3N2aM0. Need Help.

Hello. My pathology was actually really similiar with yours, 5 nodes with positive LVI and PNI, but with a tiny 1cm T1 tumor. Now, 8 cycles of CAPOX or 12 cycles of FOLFOX await you. I chose CAPOX, and i think it is a lot easier to swallow then its counterpart, with bigger intervals between cycles a...

Re: Grieving my past life and no one understands

I know just how it feels, being diagnosed in 23 myself. That feeling of life being suddenly ruined, the sudden fear of death, when you thought you didnt have to really worry about dying for like 30 more years. It was not an easy road, but i am 1 year NED for now, and it feels like life is almost bac...

Re: Small (3-6mm) Lung Nodules From mRectal Cancer...Life Expectancy Without Treatment?

Research about YAG laser lung surgery. Its a chance to have surgery for cases like yours, with a lot of small mets. It is usually done in Germany, and multiple people from this forum had undergone it in the past. And of course, chemo can kill some of your tiny mets, and allow you to have an ordinary...

Re: Stage 4 “no cure without surgery”

If there is no cancer noted on scans, it is possible. Not a common thing for sure, but i seen some similiar case studies about NEDs after chemo. And its not like your cancer journey is a common one. Like you said, according to numbers on google, you should be already dead, but you are still alive an...

Re: Regorafenib Trade Name: Stivarga bob.

Hi Green Tea, This Chemo drug Stivarga has nothing but bad reviews from people that were taking it. Hardly anyone was on it for long due to bad reactions. I am very uncomfortable with Stivarga. I was on Irinotecan with FU5. and had a reaction and was taken off. I am not sure if it was the drug or p...

You were on irinotecan chemo before oxali? Because thats the usual second chemo line, much more effective than stivarga.

Re: Doing a 180 with oncology

Its not really possible to see a good nd in the place i live in, so im my own nd. Just wanted to ask about cimetidine with xeloda really. Are you taking it?
In general cimetidine seems like a good thing to try, but im worried about xeloda interactions. What your nd thinks about it?

Re: Hi new here - CRC Stage IIIb

My treatment is pretty much the same as your. Surgery, then 8 cycles of CAPOX/XELOX. On 6th cycle now, and it will probably be my last one with oxali due to side effects. I also take some additional supplements i learned from this forum, psk, aspirin, vit d3 and curcumin.
