Re: to HAI or not ... anyone regret it ???

WOW !! Thank you all for your replies, I admittedly am ashamed that we are having so much trouble deciding this, as I know surgery is the ultimate way to get more time after this awful diagnosis. I haven't updated my signature in a long time, back in 11-2019 after the referrals from many people on v...

to HAI or not ... anyone regret it ???

So the news was not good....

We went to my husbands appt..to get the results of the CT scan as well as for his 3 week avastin treatment.. Right out of the gate we knew something was amiss, as his dr wanted to speak with us before any bloodwork was done... She informed us that the scan that was done has shown the cancer is growi...

Re: 3 months left of life

Reading this breaks my heart for you, I don't have any advice medically as this is a new journey for us as well, please don't be offended, but one thing that jumped out at me that I really would like to say is, don't be afraid, I know that sounds so irresponsible of me to say, and I don't know if I ...

Re: My wheels haven't stopped turning...

Where is/was your husband's primary tumor and has it been resected? Does/did he have suspected or confirmed lymph node involvement? Has there been any discussion of a plan to get him to resection and hopefully NED? Have you considered the possibility of the HAI pump? Primary is sigmoid colon, no ly...

Re: Chemo fail?

Boxhill, I agree totally, I did discuss this with my DH, he said he told her he'd like to wait until Oct , but this was before we knew about his CEA rising, she has not contacted him regarding it,because as you said she is likely put off by his request to wait, we received the notification of his te...

Chemo fail?

Good morning to all, I have a question regarding chemo and treatment, my DH had a CEA level increase back in June, his Dr ordered a PET scan but the scan didn't reveal anything suspect, she then decided to hold off on doing CEA tests for a bit as they can cause unnecessary anxiety, at his last treat...
