I always check in to see how things are going, I don't have much to say these days, but I am thankful I had this group, most of you probably weren't around when I was active. There were some great people on her...

Re: sad story, but I have to ask

I just hope more of the medical community jump on the bandwagon and do tests that are not the norm. such a...

Re: I'm young and worried I may have Colon Cancer. Can you help?

I had to drink 32 oz at like 5pm then because my scope was at 7:30 am I had to wake up and drink anothe 32 oz at like 3am. It was like 8o...

Re: Free Housecleaning for Chemo Patients

TheBurn yes...it is a breast cancer thing, but it is available to all chemo patients, my mother had uterine cancer, they never questioned the kind of cancer just that she was on chemo. Cleaning for a reason will come once a month, but no more than 4 times a year. If there is a cleaning place in your...

Re: Free Housecleaning for Chemo Patients

I got them for my mom when she was on chemo....if you can find a place that does it on your area, they were wonderful. they came once a month for 4 months, you get 4 cleanings a year while on chemo, my mom was on chemo for 6 months and it was a big help to her. it wasn't too hard, just some paperwork...

Re: Now What???

I know that feeling of "what should I do" after all the doctors, hospitals, stress and cargiving is done, it seems like the days go on forever. It's ok to not know what to do. You have to grieve and you need some peace and quiet right now to work things out in your head. You have a few long...

Re: Hospice has started

Well I hope John was able to eat his pizza..... In the end it's all about John, at some point you just have to throw your hands up and not worry about it. focus on you, him and Zane and that's it. I know it's easier said than done, but you are making yourself crazy trying to please his parents, and ...

Re: Hospice has started

HI, I am so glad you have John home where you want him and where he wants to be. The fact is you will always be the "bad guy" here...His parents aren't going to get mad at him, they are going to be mad at you whether it be his wishes or yours. I suggest, if I may, to continue doing what yo...

Re: Hospice has started

well it seems like everything is falling into place....maybe not the exact place you expected, but with John home it will help you and him to complete this journey.
I pray for you three and your extended family daily and hope you all find peace and enjoy what time there is.
god bless you all.
