Re: Not tolerating Xeloda. Are there any options?

My sister had a hard time after about 2 cycles with the pills and OCI. So they switched her to the infusion. It was still rough but not as bad. She was alone at first too so I got our 91 year old mother down there with her to just be there. We also had to bring our cocker spaniel which she keep aski...

Hello Everyone I’ve missed everyone so much. I had to go MIA. With everything going on in the world it’s been so much. In May my sister had her ostomy reverses and it’s been hell ever since. The burning, diarrhea, crying. We got her a hand held bidet, a site bath, all kinds of creams. Calmospetine i...

Re: Strange question for the group

As the sister of a cancer warrior, the best gift you can give now is just time. Thanks you are nice. But I will agree with the others... an experience, time together, laughs, memories. Those are the best and of yes .... pictures together.

Re: Personal question ... how do YOU do it?

They are able to use it to cover medical expenses for a certain period of time when you don’t have insurance. You shouldn’t have to worry about this and especially because of COVID. I know the market pl...

This past Tuesday she has her ileostomy reversal surgery and yesterday she came home. She has a new surgeon who is knowledgeable and kind and is the chief of the department. Her last...

Re: Please help, input needed

My sister had a hard time with chemo and with chemoradiation. She completed 4 months of chemo and did 26 rounds of chemoradiation. She had the first bite and she developed neuropathy. The numbing and tingling in hands and feet. Here is what we did. We had gloves everywhere plus we had tons of those ...
