Re: I'm getting worried

Calling Drs office back to make another appointment. Overall pain is down since starting the vitamin d but I'm still sore and not feeling well. Ive also had this rash on arms for who knows how long now and one of my incisions from Oct still looks red like there is an allergic reaction still going on...

Re: I'm getting worried

My understanding is that vitamin d is both a vitamin and a hormone. Also I believe I read that every muscle in the body has receptors for vitamin D as well. It's important for immunity and is fat soluble meaning that's it's possible to take to much which can cause harm. 10,000 daily is on high end I...

Re: I'm getting worried

Update: Ive been taking 5000 vitamin d3 while waiting for 50,000 d2 to arrive. I can definitely tell a difference already though. Blood sugar is coming down and my muscles don't completely ache and I can actually move better.

Re: I'm getting worried

Mine looks like regular crp with normal range of 3 to 8 so 11.7 is definitely high. I called Drs office to let them know last couple of days my hands have be intermittently hurting and throbbing pretty bad as well. They are sending my 50,000 iu vitamin D pills to take once a week for 4 weeks to bump...

Re: I'm getting worried

I'll definitely let you know, still waiting on call from primary to discuss it. I called them yesterday and they didn't see results yet. I also last night was able to see my c reactive protein was 11.7 mg/L which is high but my sed rate was normal at 3. Long time ago I had c reactive protein measure...

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

Just keep in mind that you can't get any meaningful data on long term side effects now that moderna and pfizer and giving the real vaccine to placebo group.

But yea people should so what they want and should make an informed decision that's right for them.

Re: I'm getting worried

Just wanted to update again. So that abdominal pain is gone for moment. I'm starting to not wear ace bandage at all so hopefully it doesn't come back. Still have been exhausted, muscles hurt and getting tired so much easier. However I complained again but to my new primary and I told her everything ...

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

Hi Stu, For sure it's an individual decision. If you do get vaccine both doses have to be from same company. They actually give you a card I think so when you go back they give you right one. It's important to remember these only have emergency authorization meaning they don't have a lot of info so ...

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

Choosing to get the vaccine is a personal decision and there is no one right answer for everyone. Personally I'm not getting it yet but would never try and stop anyone else. I can link articles of anyone cares but this is my current understanding. Technically I don't think these vaccines meet defini...

Re: Diverticulitis or possible colon cancer?

I wouldn't freak out just yet. Based on what your saying doesn't sound like diverticulitis is an option. Granted imaging isn't always perfect but it would of shown diverticulitis or at the very least diverticulosis. Without diverticulosis (pouches in colon) you can't have diverticulitis which is inf...

Re: I'm getting worried

Just thought I would update.so I've been wearing a 6" ace bandage wrap around the incision that has been bothering me. Sometimes pain was also around the incision. Anyways I've had some bad days but overall 75% better at this point. Was wearing 24/7 except bathing and then I stopped while sleep...

Re: I'm getting worried

This is hopefully last update. I had a second surgery in Oct because of pain from first surgery. Saw some adhesions but nothing that would cause my pain. Pain remained. Next step was nerve blocks or killing nerve. Decided to try PT. Long story short I've had a chronic cough for years, pretty sure it...

Re: How long do abdominal blocks last?

Feeling started coming back today! So I saw a PA at the surgical practice today. They said it was probably good I came in. So I had what looked like acne on abdomen and redness around incisions and also what looked like blisters that were draining slowly pretty much all the time. Looks like I'm alle...

Re: How long do abdominal blocks last?

Discharge seems clear and doesn't smell. Also looks like little pimples or blisters on abdomen which have clear discharge as well. Plan on calling them in an hour and a half.

Re: How long do abdominal blocks last?

Yes it was a block for pain but it wasn't in spine since this was an outpatient surgery. I still have no feeling in the area and it's been 84 hours now. I'll probably give them a call tomorrow to let them know. this last 24 hours now I've been getting some discharge too from at least one of the inci...
