Re: Neuropathy

I'm approaching 4 years post chemo.... my hands are fine and have been for several years. My feet are still numb and often tingle and sometimes this extends up my legs. I had a difficult time with neuropathy during chemo and in fact, was not able to drive for 2 1/2 years because of it. A physical th...

Back pain from full colon?

Am I imaging it? Or is my back hurting because my colon is full? I've had off and on lower back pain the past couple of weeks and it's certainly not related to any physical activity, (nor is it my mattress) but I noticed after eating a large meal last night that I woke up with back pain in the middl...

Re: Asking for prayers

So very sad. I have always said that each day could be our last, but even though I say it, and hug my kids and tell them how much I love them, I don't really know if I could go on living if I lost them.

Re: John603 has passsed away

Dear Linda, John's comment to one of my posts: by John603 » Mon Nov 30, 2009 8:59 am When I was diagnosed in 2007 the average Stage 4 survived 8 months. Now the average Stage 4 survives 30 months. Is the 22 months worth the cost of Oxaliplatin, Avastin and Erbitux? I would have to argue that it has ...

Re: SkiFletch 3.0 Online

Hope all continues to go smoothly for you. Stay on the pain meds to stay ahead of NG tube irritation pain in your throat/nose. Believe me, that part is not going to get better on its own. I hope you have success and can get that out ASAP.
Thinking of you,

Re: Recurrence.... Surprised? Or did you know?

John, I was hoping that everyone had some inkling of a recurrence. That they weren't feeling 100%, that something wasn't operating quite right, that there was a clue of some sort, like Tammy described. As I mentioned, with my original diagnosis I knew something was wrong long before the doctors foun...

Recurrence.... Surprised? Or did you know?

I'm curious to know if anyone was surprised by a recurrence. Were you feeling well when the recurrence occurred? Or did you know that something was wrong – or did you feel that something just wasn’t quite right? When my cancer was initially discovered I wasn’t surprised because I had complained of n...
