Re: Wunderglo

Sad does not even scrape the surface. What an amazing woman! I had the pleasure of meeting her in DC advocating last year, and I am so glad I had that opportunity. She taught me a lesson in life and living and dedicated her latest efforts to finding a cure for cancer. That is an inspiration for us a...

Re: Love this forum but......

Hi Grace, I am a long timer as well. I read up on things often, and support when I can. I rarely post except to offer some helpful advise. This place is a gold mine to me. A wealth of info, and sometimes too much info. You must do what works for you. Many people take breaks from the forum and you mu...

Re: the great white light? caregiver experiences requested..

Thank you all for sharing such beautiful stories. I have only a small story of my Dad's death. He was on morphine and we had just spent the afternoon talking about his 5 greatest things in his life, which of course were getting married, his 2 children, his grandchild, and a hole in one he got playin...

Re: June Blog Post - "Our Dirty Little Secrets"

I have seen pics over the years of shoots and see the awesome bond the colondar models share from this very experience, and it seems like such a moving and wonderful sanctuary they have, and Molly and her parents are so gracio...

Re: CEA/SCANS

I think he will be on a pretty short leash for a while with follow ups. I kept my port in for a while so I was there for flushes and BW monthly. Then BW every 2 months (Yes, I always went back to Onc for BW). Annual scans with chest xray for the next 3 to 4 years and I believe I had 2 or 3 scopes be...

Re: Clustering - Tips Please

Julie, I was going to suggest the same thing as CR. Check with NW girl. I didn't have a temp, but had horrible clustering with my own piping. I lived on immodium and liked it. I went everywhere with extra clothes at all times. I even stayed close to home at those times just cause it felt easier. I'd...
