Re: A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

I made it to see 2 grandbabies born in the last 3 years. Life is still sweet and we are strong. Yes, full of goodbyes, but also hellos. Hug...

Re: 53rd St. Gang

I know Dr. K won't give up until she finds a cocktail that works optimally. No new spots...take the good news and work with the rest, my friends. It was so lovely to spend time with you in the waiting room and hopefully we'll cross paths again many times under the greatest care in the world for our ...

Re: Local Onc decided not to treat my wife with HAI pump

well the local oncologist sure nuff left you and Tracie twisting in the wind, didn't he? Can you make it to New York by Monday? That's what I would do and then work out the details of the next step locally...the pump won't wait; it must be serviced on time according to Dr. Kemeny's staff. Good luck ...

Re: Here is where we stand for now ......

Have you considered Miracle house? I'm pretty sure they could get you in to lodging; and Mercy Medial Airlift, Angel Flights for kids, Corporate Angel Network are all options for transportation to New York. I could not have afforded my care in NY had it not been for some of these nonprofits, particu...

Re: Swinging chickens for ptfly's wife and Paula!

Busted out of the big house as of Sunday evening...they wouldn't keep me - surgery went better than expected and I'm now recuperating at Hope Lodge in New York for 3 weeks. Have some follow up appointments during that time, so I'll be looking for anyone who is going to be at the little House on 53rd...

OMG, the mere thought of that is going to make me throw up! xox Bev OK Bev, my incision didn't need that belly laugh this morning. Let's chew on this for awhile and see if we can come up with a solution...
