Re: KRAS and MSS

Everyone - Thank you for giving me hope and putting things into perspective.

It’s just so upsetting, and it seems we keep losing ground. Your advice and success stories are a big key to my optimism. Thank you.

KRAS and MSS

Everything I read says that this is a bad combo with a worse survival rate. 1. Are there any KRAS/MSS success stories to give hope? 2. Also, given this new finding, should we move out of our local can we Center and into the care of a higher level one? 3. FOLFOX starts next week. I hope that sounds r...

Re: KRAS and other findings help

Thank you, Claudine. What was I hoping to get regarding KRAS and BRAD and MSI? Is this very bad news?

Our step today was the port implant. Hit me hard, emotionally. Just really so much.

Re: Got post-op staging

... I was able to get the full report and have updated my signature. The report doesn’t give that TNM info that I can find. Just a note to say that your updated signature does not contain all of the post-surgery pathology data items normally required for proper staging of a resected colorectal canc...

Re: Scared of surgery in need of wisdom...

My DH Is 2 weeks post-op tomorrow, and we just returned from having an ice cream cone together! When I saw him in recovery, I was crying tears of relief and joy to know that the tumor was OUT and that he was talking to me albeit doped up on morphine. It was a shocker at first to know the Ileostomy w...

Re: Got post-op staging

Silver wedding, , but they had taken it all out. There was no cancer left in me! My 2 year surgery anniversary will be in a couple days. I have been cancer free since then. The 6 positive lymph nodes is not as good as no lymph nodes but better than 20 positive lymph nodes. You need to be more conce...

Re: Got post-op staging

Dave, Claudine, Jep - Thank you for giving me hope. I’m just shocked. I was able to get the full report and have updated my signature. The report doesn’t give that TNM info that I can find. My hubby didn’t find out type of chemo. All he remembers is a port goes in, then every 2 weeks he gets chemo o...
