Great product for skin cracks!

Hello all you Erbitux and other folks who are facing skin problems. I just found a new product that is AMAZING, especially for cracked feet. It's called Miracle Foot Repair -- and it seems to be distributed by something called miracle of aloe. It's available on amazon, and so far, it's the best I've...

Re: My CRC with liver mets journey

Stable is definitely better than progression. Also, still good news about the resection... that is progress in the right direction, right?

I'm curious of what they make of your very low CEA.

Only good wishes!

Re: Tafinlar, Mekinist and Vectibix

Here is an update on my triplet therapy. After nearly a month -- 4 doses of Erbitux and 3 full weeks of Braftovi and Mektovi -- my CEA dropped from 200 to 28. I'm thrilled. I also seem to be leveling off the side effects, which are mainly nausea-- the need to vomit unexpected. I was controlling this...

Visualization and Other non-medical stuff

I had a talk with my cancer yesterday. Told it that it that as much as I have grown to appreciate the preciousness of life in the past six months, it no longer sparks joy. I thanked it sent it away. Kidding aside, wonder what others' experience with visualizing the disease leaving your body -- vapor...

Re: Potential Kras G12C inhibitor.

As BRAF person, I gotta say, these discoveries are downright thrilling. The idea that they can get that detailed about what is/isn't going on, and attack it with increasing precision. Rock On!

Re: Tafinlar, Mekinist and Vectibix

Regarding the Beacon trial -- I believe it's ongoing, but you don't need to be in it to get the meds. They were recently approved by the FDA as a "breakthrough" treatment. If you have the BRAF mutation, and if your first line treatment either failed or stopped working, insurance should cov...

Re: Tafinlar, Mekinist and Vectibix

Started the triplet therapy this week. Erbitux on Wednesday, and the pills arrived yesterday. I take a total of 10 a day. Three doses as of this afternoon, and, so far, no really bad side-effects. Far easier than the crazy tingling and swords in the throat on Folfox. I think my hair may come back to...

Re: Anyone pass out after abdominal cramping??? ER time

Sending all good wishes. Thank you for sharing this information. As painful as it is to read -- not mention to experience as both a patient and a caretaker -- it is really informative. And we are happy to be able to send some love.

Re: Tafinlar, Mekinist and Vectibix

I'm also doing triplet therapy -- but it seems a slightly different one from yours. Erbitux instead of Vectibix. I did the first Erbitux infusion on Wednesday, and am just now starting to see signs of the rash -- small pimples on the arms and redness on the face. I'm taking antibiotics to manage the...

Re: My hair is falling out.

I've lost somewhere between a 3rd and half of my hair on five rounds of Folfox and one of Folfiri. I had a lot to start with, and most people say they can't tell. I can see pink scalp in all sorts of places, mostly the part. I'm switching to Triplet therapy (Erbitux, Encorafenib, Binimetinib), and I...

Re: Treating the Erbitux Rash

Wondering about things like retinols and AHA/ABA acids. I spend a lot of time on my skin, and, as a 54 year-old with some sun damage, these are very helpful. But not sure how think of this in terms of drug interactions. Also, I'm gathering from your (very helpful) comments that things like excessive...
