Hi,

Kaiser pharmacy say it has not been done before and don't know a safe way of doing it. I thought if pill can be crush in small particles then mix in water and feed it thru j tube.

Re: Please help, input needed

Push for a gnomic test. Find out ASAP if you have braf v600e because traditional chemo will not help much. While you wait you can get a cea and cea199 from private lab, cost around $100 for both. This will be the baseline.

Re: Emergency HIPEC, possible?

Looks likely to be diffuse cancer causing blockage but no definitive answer yet. Still mostly blocked with NG tube in now for 5 days, complete bowel rest, TPN and just about managed pain. Scans indeterminate but not resolving conservatively which points to cancer. Patient had some peritoneal involv...

Is triplet regimen easier than your other regimen? How do you rank the regimen from easy to hardest?

Re: Hope for BRAFers

I did not find the original triplet therapy difficult -- certainly not compared to oxalyplatin. The Erbitux does produce a rash, but that is cosmetic. And I did find myself nauseated a bit more often, frequently without warning. Hi, . Is your mutation v600e? Do you know if the triplet therapy can b...

Hi,

My dad uses senokot. He takes 3 pills at night daily and if he still can't go, he takes 4 pills.

Re: HELP! suspended treatment (nephrology)

Have you try to ask to use only 5FU without oxaliplatin? My dad has kidney issues so nurse advise him to drink more water before blood test.

Re: Xeloda alone after allergic to Oxliplatin

My dad is currently taking Folfox which is similar to your regimen, but with addition of avastin. Avastin cuts off blood supply to the tumor. To clear up some possible confusion, FOLFOX is Oxy plus 5FU plus Leucovorin (which helps increase the effectiveness of 5FU, it is not a chemo drug on its own...

Re: Regorafenib + Nivolumab - Immunotherapy might work in MSS CRC

If there is 25% success rate from this combo that is huge. It might not sound great on the face of it by Opdivo mono-therapy had less than 5% efficacy in MSS patients. This gives patients a big boost Well the disease control rate is closer to 50%. The question is how does this compare to Regorafeni...
