Re: Dr. wants an ultrasound (liver/gallbladder) SCARED

Hi KS — Fingers-crossed everything is fine and you get results quickly! I’ve had gall bladder issues (and subsequent removal) and what you’re describing sounds very familiar (right side under rib, pain can range from achy to stabbing, comes and goes). First step to explore those issues is a liver/ga...

Re: How did you first discover or got diagnosed with colorectal cancer ?

I was diagnosed at my first colonoscopy, age 50. My husband was the driving factor for even scheduling the procedure because he needed one also (a bit late for him as he’s a year older than me). Re: 3C Recently Diagnosed - need support

Congratulations on four down, MJ! Way to go! I would equate FOLFOX doses 4 - 8 like a series of blind dates: each one a little different, some good qualities, some bad. Don’t be surprised if some side effects show up for one cycle and disappear for another. There is a cumulative effect for tiredness...

Re: My teenager is mad

Hi AppleTree! Sounds like you are taking so many positive steps and enjoying time and experiences with your amazing son! Love that you are sharing so much and laughing together. I have two boys around your son’s age (15 and 13 at the time of my diagnosis) and they were so angry. Each one showed it i...
