I should have also added that radiation is given for two main reasons. The one that everyone is aware of is to shrink the tumor. Thanks. Surgeon did not recommend pre surgery chemorad as the tumour was small.

Hi, I have been diagnosed with Stage 3A (T1N1) low rectal cancer early June 2018. Robotic LAR surgery done on 28 Jun. Temp illeostomy. Started Folfox on 25 July.
