Another thing to add about turmeric and the challenges of absorption are that some forms use a black pepper extract or BioPerine which improves absorption. However, there are also supplement forms that are hydro-soluble that absorb even better.

As others have mentioned, turmeric may be supportive, but a key is to look at the absorption of it. There are challenges absorbing in the intestinal tract. So, forms that are hydro-soluble absorb better.

Excellent to hear about the curcumin supplement. Thank you for sharing!
I have not been about to find this LEF Bio-Curcumin. Where do you find this, and do you know if it contains a BioPerine or a hydro-soluble formula? A supplement form that is hydro-soluble absorbs better.

Yes, I strongly support the above. It's important to look into supplements and talk to your doctor before taking anything. Eating turmeric spice can add flavor, but it's hard for our body to absorb and we excrete is quickly. You would really need to eat a ton of turmeric everyday to get benefits fro...
