Re: Help with bowels

That is great news Mike!

I am not sure how you have been able to manage with all your fasting. The whole supplement thing is quite the trial and error process isn't it. I am thankful I had a little more flexibility this summer so when I did have some off days it didn't impact too much.

Re: Help with bowels

Mike, I try to drink 80-100 ounces. I weight around 175 or so and the recommendation is to drink at least half your weight in ounces a day. I have much less evening clustering and gas when I get enough water. The combination of the BioCleanse, water, and I think the probiotics has really helped me r...

Re: Help with bowels

It is a lot of water particularly if you aren’t naturally a water drinker. I was a pretty big water drinker before cancer but even I had to work up to it. I am not a coffee or tea guy and soda doesn’t sit real well any more so that narrows the options! If you don’t know anyone and want to try BioCle...

Re: Help with bowels

For me BioCleanse has not caused any diarrhea. It has just helped all the little fragments, that used to come out throughout the day, come out at one time. I still have some trigger foods that I need to watch like dairy and high sugar foods. They tend to produce more clustering and my wife’s chili b...

Re: Help with bowels

Other people don't experience what you're going through so they don't know. The best that they can do is read the research and make suggestions. It is an emerging area of research as more and more people wind up this way. So there is hope for better answers. Mike, it is interesting that you posted ...

Re: Help with bowels

Thank you, It is nice to know that there is advise here for sure. How did everyone that has found their thing to help them with their bowels, did your doctor guide you? With the biocleanse does this produce soft to diarrhea or a more normal stool? For me, BioCleanse seems to get everything moving t...

Re: What Helped You Make It Through Folfox Cycles 6-8

Those last three rounds were right up there with the first four (pre surgery) which included Vectbix. I think what got me through them was keeping my eye on the prize. I was doing this for a reason. I wanted to be there for my family for as long as I could and those rounds were going to help me get ...

Re: Help with bowels

It is strange how our bodies react to this surgery so differently. I think there is a lot of trial and error as we go. I take three BioCleanse at bedtime and usually have a good bm 6-7 hours later. As long as I drink enough water and don’t go too crazy eating wise (little dairy other than cheese and...

Re: Help with bowels

I have gained a fairly normal bowl habit by taking a product called BioCleanse which has magnesium in it and drinking a lot of water like 80-100 ounces.

Might be something for you husband to try!

Re: Vectibix side effects

I sure hope he can get that liver resection! I had 4 round of Folfox with Vectibix and has all of the symptoms your boyfriend has. It was probably the low point of my treatment. He is an amazing trooper to make it through 10 rounds!

Re: oxaliplatin side effects - 9 years after treatment

For me the hardest part post Oxy chemo was the brain impairment. Everyone said how good I looked but I knew, and so did my family to some extent, that I was not as sharp as I was pre chemo. It took over a year to not stumble over words and to be able to make a quick response to a question. These are...
