Hello,
It could be an ovarian cyst those can cause pain long after ovulation. I have those often. For me the pain is felt where you describe.
I don’t remember having that pain right after my colectomy.

I would get another dr. to weigh in. Then you need to ask yourself- will I wish I had done more? I know it’s scary, and hard to know what to do.
