As benben said I think it depends on the contrast you are given. I don't ask the names of what they are giving me, but only one time I was given the thick chalky contrast which gave me the runs as soon as the scan was over. I felt obligated to apologize to the staff because I used up all the TP in ...

Hey all! Had my 2 year scan today. My appointment for results was suppose to be Thursday, so I knew the wait would be rough. However, they called me today! When I saw that number I about fell over- assuming the worst. But it was good news. Normal scans, normal CEA! Just thought I’d hop on here to s...

Update- normal ultrasound and cea is 3.2 which is lower than last time! Relieved!
