Re: Keytruda....Working for MSS....Mutation Burden is the Key

chadwick1 My oncology team prepared an appeal to my insurance company and to Keytruda's manufacturer explaining the new evidence that there may be benefit to MSS colon cancer patients that have a high mutation burden. They worked with Foundation One (who had amassed a lot of data based on their tes...

Re: Major cancer centers/insurance

Hi hope you’re doing well. You hold a very dimilar profile to my mom, are you NED? I looked into this earlier this year and I think that there's only one provider in my state and I couldn't determine whether or not they covered MGH or Dana Farber. I looked into the MA (neighboring state) options and...

NIH Tumor Inflitrating Lymphocytes Clinicial Trial

Hello,

Hope all is well. My mom is currently undergoing this NIH trial and may have to undergo pembrolizumb if there’s disease progression. Has anyone done pembrolizumumab in this trial? What was your result? Any updates on anyone NED from this?

Re: Stage 4 to NED- Please tell us

Hello there! So good to hear your doing well. Just curious were you MSS? I thought Keytruda isn’t provided for anyone non MSI high? Also, I’m dealing with my moms case. My mom has intermidiate tumor burden is that the he same as moderate? I’d love your input. Sending you warm wishes. I have been at ...

Re: Atezolizumab & Cobimetinib in microsatellite stable

Albert, very glad to hear that you had such a good response! We are seeing more and more responses from MSS patients, with different mutations, from immunotherapy trials. So far, several have good responses and later there is progression, but that doesn't stop them from going for other immunotherap...

Re: TIL Immunotherapy at NCI

My Wife had lung wedge resection surgery this week 1/8/18 at NCI/NIH to harvest her TILs. Everything went well and today we will go home after she completes Aspheresis. Now we wait and see for 3 months if the harvested cells grow with the proper mutations. Incredible stuff going on down here in Bet...

Re: Treatment options

I'm in agreement with Pita, if you aren't happy with your oncologist get a second opinion, preferably at a NCI cancer center. Don't give up hope keep fighting for your Mom. Prayers for both of you. HUGS, Teri Hi! Are you NED now? Have you considered immunotherapy? My mom has exact same KRAS G12V Mu...

Re: Treatment options

If you put all the details in your signature (you can click the link in mine) about dx, tx, etc, it will help people be able to help more since there are different posts. We can then see it all on any post you make. Are you NED right now? My mom has exact same KRAS mutation G12V and MSS. If not, ar...

Re: TIL Immunotherapy at NCI

I'm on my way back from Bethesda after an NIH TIL trial follow up. The first scan wasn't very good, so I expected to be dropped from the trial today, but the second scan was mixed: some lesions slightly larger, some slightly smaller, so I may be getting some benefit after all. I'm scheduled to rins...
