I started my folfox wednsday june 4 and had my pump on for 48 hours. I was very nervous about what the outcome might be. I drank plenty of water and I took some ritz crackers with me. I found out that I made myself more sick worrying about the treatment than the actual treatment. I never got sick in...

well I finally got to get my pump removed and just one day to go on my radiation. I grew very weak during my 5 weeks of 5fu but I get to start on folfox I think that's how you spell it. hello feel alone I am sorry for what you and your husband are going through. When I was diagnosed I woke up to my wife, daughter and my mother in tears, of course I was out of it and made light of everything I guess thats just the way I look at things. I am glad you decided to post. It has helped me in many ways. I have been on consant chemo using the pump 24/7 it was very annoying at first but it has gotten better. I was nervous to see how I would react to it but after two weeks I am doing ok. I have to go for radiation evey day I have to do this...

everything went well. I took along nap after I got back from my onc. They were very good to me and ya'll were right, the anticipation was worse. yea this fanny pack is a nuisance but I took a long nap with the darn thing and I made it alright. thank you thank you thank you I am on my way to get my chemo started this morning and I will take this advice with me and use every bit of it. I will ask for an extra battery thanks, because I don't like being unprepared. Ya'll have helped me so much I feel like I'm ready so here I go. thanks again

I can't thank you enough for your advice. Just reading the questions and answers by so many people that have gone down the same road makes me stronger. It gives me the courage to stand up and fight with everything I have.
