Re: Quick question about colonoscopy

Ok thats good to hear. My worry was because the rectum was so low, that maybe he couldve skipped over that part. But since its the first thing the colonoscope sees, hopefully it should be visible clearly by GI doc.

Quick question about colonoscopy

Hi everyone! I posted recently about constant pelvic ache I have had for the past 6 weeks, along with gas and rumbling/discomfort in the pelvic region and received some excellent feedback and got my colonoscopy done today. I received good news in that the colonoscopy was normal and no growths or abn...

Re: 20 years old, extremely worried.

Thank you all for the help everyone. Still dont know why I have this pelvic pain and gas/narrow stools, but looks like im in the clear, having had a clean colonoscopy, CT scan, bone scan, and bloodwork. Must be either minor IBS and some strange muscle injury according to doc.

Re: 20 years old, extremely worried.

thank you! will update tuesday evening after colonoscopy.
I called my GI and he thinks CRC is unlikely given I have normal stools and I am 20, but
I will know for sure after the scope.

Re: 20 years old, extremely worried.

Hi, i appreciate your response and it has helped me calm down. Thank you. I had the CT scan with IV contrast. And yeah, at the very least even if the Ct scan cant detect CRC it means I should have nothing outside of colon. My family thinks im crazy for worrying about CRC given we have zero family hi...

Re: 20 years old, extremely worried.

Wow thank you very much for the feedback and the links about the colonoscopy. I will get it next week. Would a CT scan show a rectal tumor that has gone past the colon? Thanks again for your feedback.

Re: 20 years old, extremely worried.

Ok thanks for the reply. I am getting the colonoscopy by a GI next week. Does rectal cancer usually cause bowel synptoms? Because my bowels are still normal, i am just having the pelvic pain. Thanks.

Re: 20 years old, extremely worried.

I will be able to get a colonoscopy next week i believe. My concern is do my symptoms match rectal cancer? My main symptom is just the dull ache in pelvis. My stools are still normal. Thanks.

20 years old, extremely worried.

Hello everyone, sorry for the long post but I need help. I am a 20 year old who has been suffering from constant 24/7 pelvic ache for over a month. A little over a month ago, I woke up and felt an ache all over my low pelvic region (below waistline). Its a vague dull ache that is centralized around ...
