Hi there, I have to have a general anaesthetic now after my resection, but have had 2 previous colonoscopys ( one sigmoid) without anything!!!! I prefer the having nothing, because yes u are very aware and can see what's going on and depending on ur surgeon u can ask questions while having it done. ...

I'm taking sodium bicarbonate in the morning for a quick clear out , but would gladly try anything else...

Which brand do you use Dave???

I been slacking on Metamucil every night before I go to bed. Has anyone taking it and things are better? Sometimes I think it makes me cluster, but I have not consistently taking it every night. Mike I thought I was the only one ever gained weight on adjuvant chemo, lol I gained 30lb, lost it again and now gained again ( Story of my life ) if I cold fast it would be great and I'm rather fond of a nice glass of vino ( or 5 lol ) But since I'm back on all fiber again I'm sure I'll loose it ag...
