High Tumor Mutation Burden in MSS patients

Does anyone have insight or is anyone MSS with a high TMB? If so, has immunotherapy worked for you?

Thanks so much!

Re: Healthy 42 year old diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer

I was a healthy 43 year old who had a colonoscopy as a fluke. I was told I had 6 months to live but that I could die at any minute. I found great doctors and the right clinical trial for me. And here I am 13 + years and counting with no signs of cancer. MSK is a great place. You're in good hands. Y...

Re: Fasting During Chemo

Today is Thursday and I was just unhooked from the pump. I started fasting - a modified fast of less than 500 calories per day - on Sunday and I'll continue through today. 5 days total. The instructions were to start the fast 48 hours before chemo (Tuesday) to get the normal cells into hibernation,...

Fasting During Chemo

Hi guys,

I've recently read some interesting information about the benefits of fasting the day before/day of/day after chemo. The thought is fasting will starve the cancer cells.

Has anyone tried this or heard about the benifits from doing so?

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks so much!

Thank you all who have responded! I find all of your information helpful!

Does anyone know why the doctors would choose Folfirri + Avastan vs Folfox?

Thanks again to all
