Wow, that is really too sad. After everything we have achieved, wished there was something that worked for you.
Take care,

Re: Telephone appointment with my GI

HI DE, I am sorry to hear about your issues, strange isn’t it that far out from treatment and no issues arise. I am having similar new issues with diarrhea that comes sometimes within half and hour of a meal. I haven’t been able to connect it to any food in particular but the fixes that worked after...

Re: Problems with bowels after covid

Interesting! We are also seeing lots of double vaccinated people having a covid positive test but with mild symptoms ! I have not tested positive but felt viral and the same symptoms I had straight after being vaccinated. I think I have had previous exposure as both my son and I took covid toes bac...

Re: Problems with bowels after covid

I don't have much information relevant to your question, but I seem to remember that patients who have had pelvic radiation may experience long-term radiation after-effects years after the original exposure. Maybe what you are experiencing is a long-term radiation flare-up. On another front, I hope...

Re: NEW-Need some positivity here.

That’s good news! Two clean colposcopies, three CT. Moving forward and trying not to look in the rear view mirror too often.
Take care.

Problems with bowels after covid

I was vaccinated in December and January as I am a therapist with kids. My family is very careful, follows guidelines, only gathered in small groups with vaccinated people and I never took off my mask in public places. My husband and I ate our first and only inside meal at an airport while waiting o...

I am starting to run with my husband, life has been good. A few foods a wish I could still enjoy but overall no complaints. Still chal...

Hi Mike,
It has been almost a year since I last posted. Can’t believe it’s been four years on this journey. You were just a little ahead of me at each step so I read your words as a guide.
Just checking in, wishing you well. Wondering what’s next?

Re: Rectal cancer (Stage 3A) diagnosed late June 2017

Hi Mike, I continue to be a little more clumsy, less dexterity than before chemo but it subtle so is it older age or neuropathy, so I am not on computer much except to do work. Teleheath and virtual classroom are hard on eyes as well so the blogs that used to support me are a drain on my eye and han...
