Re: Bad symptoms every 5 days

I’m going thru the exact same thing! Had a CT end of October. All was good. But I been fighting same symptoms for about 2 weeks. Saw my PC doctor last week and told her. She said to go on probiotics for about two weeks. So, I started that today. Colonoscopy was clear in April Hope you feel better so...

Re: Quick intro -- diagnosed Friday

I’m so glad to hear that everything is going well. I also had ITC and had no clue what to do about it I had two opinions from oncologist that said I did not need treatment for ITC. So, I didn’t. I still think about it. But they said it was one, and it was out of me. There’s not much on them. That I ...

Re: Quick intro -- diagnosed Friday

Sounds like you’re doing excellent! I remember after surgery, I felt like I could breathe again. The worrying is crazy before surgery.

Re: Quick intro -- diagnosed Friday

Sending you strength, stay positive. I know it’s hard but you’ll feel better when you have a plan. I worried up till they put me out. Then woke up and I try not to look back. It’s always in my mind, but I take everyday and keep moving. You got this!

Re: Quick intro -- diagnosed Friday

I had one lymph node that was enlarged. They can do a procedure to look at the lymph. Also, they could see how deep the tumor was. Mine was negative for the lymph node and they could see it was a T2 from the procedure I can’t think of the name, but I’m sure someone here will know the name of the pro...

CT/Soft Tissue Density

Hi All, I just had my first CT scan since surgery. I had to go to a different radiologist because I have moved. So, I just received the report from my doctor and it suggested that I had soft tissue density near the area of surgery and pelvic. The radiologist and my surgeon suggested a 3 month scan t...

Re: I need help deciding treatment after surgery!! THIS isn't Easy!!

I also had a situation where I wasn’t sure what to do. But mine was ITC that was found
I would suggest a second opinion. Some hospitals will only do standard treatment.

Re: Rectal cancer diagnose with isolated tumor cells (ITC)

I’m not sure about CTC. They didn’t mention that. I had just 1 ITC that was found. I think they are two different things, but not sure.

Re: Robotic surgery and LAR syndrome

I had robotic LAR and I remember the doctor mentioning that he had an urologist and another doctor there that lit up the nerves near the surgery site. They had all the nerves lit up so they could avoid any issues. I believe this is why I don’t have much of an issue.
