Colon cancer and asbestos

I would love any information that links colon cancer to asbestos exposure, 4 years cancer free from a stage 3C diagnosis and living the good life.

Keep positive and remember that you can do this, I finished chemo 10 months ago and had a clean checkup with bloodwork today.

Re: CT scan report and PARA-AORTIC Lymph Nodes!

I had very high lymph node involvement and feel great today(and hopefully have a lot longer to live). Please trust your doctors and believe in the system as life is better with a positive outlook. I find so much hope on this site and if you read other people’s stories you can too, good luck.

Re: Colon cancer screening at 45 - New guidelines

Spent two years fighting doctors, really wish they would have checked me sooner. I’m so glad it’s changing and my kids can get checked sooner.

Done with chemo

Just finished my 12th round of FOLFOX (9 with oxi). No doctors appointments for 3 months until my next ct scan. I don’t post much but wanted everyone on here to know that you are all my inspirations and your stories give me so much hope. Thanks for all the information you give.

Back pain

10 days ago I hurt my back in a simple way as I have many times in my life and was expecting the muscle pain to be with me for a couple days as usual but it just doesn’t seem to want to go away. My doctor has tried Cyclobenzaprine and DiazePAM with no luck. Could my chemotherapy have any affect on m...

Lymph nodes

I'm having trouble understanding why my doctor keeps telling me that my cancer hasn't moved to distant lymph nodes. 16 of the 27 harvested tested positive for cancer but only ones near my colon were harvested. Anyone with input on this?
