Re: Should I ask for a colonoscopy?? Help meeee

... what I’m going through. Its not so much pain as it is discomfort. It feels like something is in there somewhere... Actually, this describes my experience in the days just before my rectal cancer DX. I had no actual pain, no blood in stool, no changes in bowel movements, no anemia,. Nothing. Not...

Re: Should I ask for a colonoscopy?? Help meeee

Re: Blood in stool please help

...My biggest concern is whether or not my colonoscopy from 8 months ago missed something even though i had no bowel issues at the time. Your colonoscopy from 8 months ago might have missed something if you did not have an adequate bowel preparation prior to the procedure: ... If you really want to...

Re: Multiple polyps

I could definitely feel my polyp while standing up and sitting down, it felt like a had a golf ball somewhere up there. That’s why I kept pushing my doctor. I think Americans use the term pre cancerous polyps for all Adeomas... I think that a bit crazy to be honest, yes they CAN turn into cancer but...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

First it’s pretty rare for a polyp that small to be cancerous and if the GL suspects something they usually say afterwords. Second, because they found a polyp you’ll be on a checkup list, depending on the pathology report, usually it’s either 1, 3 or 5 yers. Congrats on being proactive :D Ps. Do you...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

Wait do you Americans stay in the hospital doing the prep ?? Is that standard? We don’t really go to a hospital unless the GL find something, it’s more like a small Gastro clinic with some nurses and a GL. I don't go to the hospital for any of it. I prep at home, I go to a clinic where all they do ...

But I have no idea if it was internal or external hemmies. My mom is getting hers surgical removed next week ! And I can also say, that I had blood...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

Hopefully it will all be over soon :D piles/hemorid can also cause mucus because of irritation, so if the blood was caused by a bursting hemorid then it can also explain the mucus. In fact it could be a hundred things like a normal stomach virus. Go get yourself some great toilet entertainment for t...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

I've read that passing mucus means there is inflammation in the colon. Inflammation can occur for a variety of reasons that are cancer related. I would talk to your doctor.*hugs* Hope you mean “Inflammation can occur for a variety of reasons that are NOT cancer related” And it’s not always a inflam...

Re: Back in the fight

My friends mom suddenly got episodes where she couldn’t talk, the doctors found a golf ball size benign tumour in her brain. They said it could be a small childhood head trauma, that cause some scaring that had grown bigger over the years. I really hope it’s nothing serious, and you’ll get answers s...
