Re: Tubular Adenoma Polyp found during colonoscopy - 27 years old

Well you can see on my story that I also had a polyp way bigger than yours removed when I was 25 and it was bigger and uglier than yours luckily without dysplasi. It took me 6 months of anxiety not to be afraid all the time. I am not afraid it’s polyposis syndrome (FAP) because it often causes 100s ...

Re: colon mass detected during pelvic exam...?

Why did the doctor not pop a finger in the bum and feel, if they said it was from the colon/rectal ? I had a turnus/trainee doctor making a gynecological examination on me where she said she could feel something, but it was properly pop and if I would like for the real doctor to come in and check. O...

Re: Should I ask for a colonoscopy?? Help meeee

Ok hon! But you know periods are very sensitive, especially to stress and diet changes. I both have mine way way early and very late because of stress and anxiety. The problem with HA is that it makes a fly into an elephant, to begin with there was clearly something bugging your stomach, but the you...

Re: Should I ask for a colonoscopy?? Help meeee

... what I’m going through. Its not so much pain as it is discomfort. It feels like something is in there somewhere... Actually, this describes my experience in the days just before my rectal cancer DX. I had no actual pain, no blood in stool, no changes in bowel movements, no anemia,. Nothing. Not...

Re: Blood in stool please help

...My biggest concern is whether or not my colonoscopy from 8 months ago missed something even though i had no bowel issues at the time. Your colonoscopy from 8 months ago might have missed something if you did not have an adequate bowel preparation prior to the procedure: ... If you really want to...

Re: Multiple polyps

I could definitely feel my polyp while standing up and sitting down, it felt like a had a golf ball somewhere up there. That’s why I kept pushing my doctor. I think Americans use the term pre cancerous polyps for all Adeomas... I think that a bit crazy to be honest, yes they CAN turn into cancer but...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

First it’s pretty rare for a polyp that small to be cancerous and if the GL suspects something they usually say afterwords. Second, because they found a polyp you’ll be on a checkup list, depending on the pathology report, usually it’s either 1, 3 or 5 yers. Congrats on being proactive :D Ps. Do you...

Re: 22 years old and scared to death

Wait do you Americans stay in the hospital doing the prep ?? Is that standard? We don’t really go to a hospital unless the GL find something, it’s more like a small Gastro clinic with some nurses and a GL. I don't go to the hospital for any of it. I prep at home, I go to a clinic where all they do ...
