I'm glad the new doctor works out for you. A lot of respect for your attitude on the potential "chemo for life" direction. I'm sure it is just what they see right now, everything changes so quickly and they don't have a crystal ball. I was also given by my Dr at MSK a 'definitely' chemo fo...
I’m in recovery from surgery today. The PET scan just before showed the maintenance chemo had held me stable For three months. The surgeon said it went well and they removed a lot of nodes. I was reading up on surgical options for lymph nodes and found this example of a patient with multiple lymph ...
Hi Riki, I have no long term experience with XELODA to share. Glad that you can tolerate it well. But my experience with CEA can be of reference somehow. My CEA jumped during FOLFOX's second/third infusion. It jumped from low 20s to high 30s. Was told it is normal for chemo-caused CEA jump to not sh...

Hi AT, Been reading your posts as mCRC patients with PALN spread is not common, I was trying to read some stories with positive energy and I saw yours :) I have been trying to convince my doctor to do maintenance chemo with no luck. They said they don't do maintenance chemo there as researches did n...
I'm so happy for your good scan!! Been watching your journey and you have been so brave. I remember you absolutely hate your targeted therapy, but you toughed through it with such grace. Good luck to you! Btw, I was cursing when I saw what happened to your husband. Your husband's ex working partner ...
Yes, it is my only time taking avastin. It is so easy (had erbitux before which gave me breakouts from head to toe), only runny nose. But my platelet did not climb back to normal level for a long time. I finished in Nov 2019 .
