Re: Moviprep - colonoscopy prep

If you have any friends in Canada ask them to send you some Pico Salex. There are 2 pouches in each box and the cost is around $14. There is a procedure to go through starting a week before the prep...Quit any blood thinners under your Drs. instructions.Discontinue eating anything with seeds or nuts...

See if your Dr. is able to order Pico Salex....you will never have problems with nausea again. It is like Tang

Re: Moviprep - colonoscopy prep

For all you brave souls who have had to suffer through the ingestion of Movieprep...just a word of advice...I have mentioned this before...but next time you have to go through the process, ask your Doc for Pico Salex, or Picolax. I had 10 years of taking the wretched preps that tasted like a combina...

Re: Moviprep - colonoscopy prep

Pfauxmeh You may not find the prep medicine so terrible...depends what they give you. I have been getting colonoscopies since 1999...starting out every 6 months then every year, and now every 2 years. I have drank so many of those concoctions I can't count them (once 4 x in a month). My first colono...

Re: Moviprep - colonoscopy prep

I mentioned a couple of days ago that Pico Salex is still the best prep ever...everyone I know who has used it is so relieved not to have to gag the stuff down or worry about hurling it back out. Ask your Internist or Dr. to research it if you have never heard of it before. I have been getting colon...

Re: Moviprep - colonoscopy prep

Nearly everyone on here keeps talking about Moviprep..Sounds downright revolting. I am from Canada and have been getting Colonoscopies since '99. That year I had a colon resection and ended up having 4 colonoscopies in 1 month. Now I am having them every 2 to 3 years. For several years my prep was s...

colonoscopy prep

My last colonoscopy was in Oct. 07 and my Dr. gave me a new prep called Pico Salex. Compared to some of the nauseating preps I have taken over the past 9 years it was great....tastes like Tang...no problem getting it down, and I didn't get sick. It was a pleasant surprise because I usually dread fac...
