Re: Any Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis people out there?

When i finally had a blocked colon, they only took so much out, not the whole thing like i wanted. Now it is still floati...

Re: Train wreck!

I don't know your beliefs and im not that person that pushes people to believe things but just knowing there is a much greater world ahead of us after we die and all of this pain and worrying about our kids won't mean a thing. I have an almost 2 year old that was born right before they found my canc...

Re: Healthy 42 year old diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer

You are young, im surprised they didnt go with the oxa right off the bat, but your mix is good also. You will do fine with the chemo dont worry you are young. Just keep working and keep busy if you can and the treatment will fly by.

For me the two didn't do anything without the Irinotecan..once they added that in all the bloating and pain disappeared in almost instantly a few days after...hopefully the two work well for you tho.

Re: Stoma Life - Awsome Life :)

After 20+ years of untreated Crohns, oh yeah i love my stoma haha. If you cant travel where you want or go out and not worry about bathrooms, seriously think about it. No one sees it, knows about it, smells it, etc. Gotta live life even if a small bag attached to you, life could be much worse. Wish ...

Re: chemo - no side effects yet

Dont worry about feeling it..im 5 rounds in to the same combo as you and my hair is thicker, i feel like superman for the 3 days after it(roids), and I only notice a few hickups the day after. I dont even really notice it and i know it is working because the bloating went away..now the oxy/avastin/f...

Re: Just got post-surgery results and they aren't good

At first I thought the pump would be in the way for 3 days but after i started shoving it in my front pocket and routing the tube under, it wasn't so annoying. They even gave me a kit so i could take it out of my port by myself. Fun times.
