thanks all for the answers once again. since I saw the docs and the rectal examination, the bleeding has been non-stop..the doc said he is hv 80-90 % certain it is piles..but wanted scope anyway... he may well wanted to do it, so that he can charge me more....lol.. i think it bleeds when I stress ou...

thanks guys..any side effects of colonscopy ? is it painful ? doc said sedation..but that means injection right ? and is that the ultimate test ? and would it definitely tell if I hv cancer or not ? and can they not distinguish if the blood is for piles or colonoscopy by any other method ? given I d...

Hi, I am 36 yr old male and I had rectal bleeding for five years on and off. In the last year or so, it been severe with frequent bleeding and increased blood volume.
